About My Mummys Orphanage

My Mummy’s Orphanage is a non-profit organization that was founded in August 2002 by Reverend (Mrs). Osayi Bara Lato and the Home has since thrived successfully with bringing up less-privileged children to be living meaningful lives in the society.

The Home is located at 78 Ewah Road, Benin City, Nigeria and currently has 20 looked after children. The propriety was privately bought by Rev Mrs. Lato for the purpose of the Orphanage so that the children can have an undisturbed and safe private environment to call their home.

Mission / Aims / Objectives

My Mummy Orphanage Home is a safe and friendly Home of Succor and Haven for the left-out and abandoned babies, infants, and children.  We specialize in safeguarding these children, who some, where picked up from being abandoned on the streets, bins and in uncompleted buildings and some brought in by the relevant local authorities of Edo State; providing spiritual, moral, and educational needs for their future.
 
We help to support these children who were left to death, to receive freedom to be alive, to be well and made relevant in the society, in the world at large and to have beautiful and secure future.
